Leachfield Repairs

Leach fields in Pima County will typically begin to fail between 20-25 years after installation. Typically you will have a back-up of sewage in your home and call for a pumping company to pump the tank. After many days or weeks the tank will overflow again and sewage will back-up into the sinks and bathtubs. This usually means the leaching fields, or gravel bed, are completely clogged and new lines will need to be installed.

For a leach field replacement you will not normally need to perform a new percolation test or get a permit. If we are installing the fields in the same area as the existing lines we can normally begin the work without having to go through the permit process.

Once we provide you with a bid for the work (average price $2,750), and you accept us as your contractor, we will call for Bluestake (utility line location service), order the gravel or chambers, and schedule you for work within 72 hours. In some cases Bluestake can respond within 24 hours if you have a septic back-up in the home.

If you have more questions on leach field replacement, or you would like a free estimate on a new leaching field, you can call David at 406-3871. If you get a voice mail please leave a message -- all calls are valuable to us and are returned just as quickly as possible.
